James G. "Bud" Cary

James G. "Bud" Cary, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at Christ Hospital on Thursday, July 10, 2014. He was born in Millstone, Kentucky on March 4, 1931 to Leslie and Sarah (Sexton) Cary. James served in the Army during the Korean War. On October 6, 1972 in Hamilton he married Bonnie Smith. He was retired from Hamilton Brass and Aluminum. James was a Minister of the Gospel for many years, God used James to touch the lives of many. He enjoyed working out at the Fitton YMCA in Hamilton. James will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cary; children, James Cary, Sheila Cary, Angela (Darrell) Martin, David (Robin) Cary, Tabitha (Jack) Abney; step children, Linda (Jeff) Luff, and Douglas (Buffie) Rose; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Louise Bowman, Frances Embry, and Bertha Miracle. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gertrude Fultz; and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Fitton YMCA for all their help.
