James Edward Cheesman Jr.

James Edward Cheesman Jr., age 53 of Middletown passed away at Hospice of Butler and Warren County on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 5:40 PM. He was born in Middletown on December 20, 1956 the son of James Edward Cheesman Sr. and Gwendolyn (Carr) Hunt. James was a member of Elizabethtown First Church of God. On November 12, 1988 in New Miami, Ohio he married Shari Kruse.

He is survived by his wife Shari Cheesman of Middletown; four sons, Kasey Cheesman of Middletown, Jason (Tanyee) Cheesman of Middletown, Joshua Cheesman of Hamilton, and James Cheesman of Middletown; a brother, Archie (Keitha) Cheesman of Hamilton; a sister, Betty Ann (Mike) Shoemaker of Middletown; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cindy and her husband Andy Matus.

Funeral service will be held at the Elizabethtown First Church of God, 8900 Chamberlin Road, Carlisle, Ohio 45005 on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Ashley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Hospice of Butler and Warren County, 5940 Long Meadow Drive, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
