James "Rick" Combs

James “Rick” Richard Combs, age 63 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Rick was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 11, 1958 to James Lee Combs and Dorothy Florence (Miller) Spahr. Rick was a proud graduate of Fairfield High School, Class of 1976. Rick worked as a truck driver and drove for Dr. Pepper, Roadway, Le Saints Logistics and was an owner-operator for Landstar.

Rick is survived by his life partner and loving companion, Cheryl “Cher” Miller; his brother, Ronald (Lucinda) Combs; his sister, Rhonda (Michael) Cassano; his step-sister, Donna (Dave) Brown, and three special women who had a special place in Rick’s heart, Aimee Ross, Kelly Skinner, and Jeannie Conlon. Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Memorial Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Inurnment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
