James A. Estes

James Albert Estes, age 66 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Jim was born in Frenchburg, Kentucky on February 5, 1954 to Albert and Kathleen Estes. On February 26, 1972, he married the love of his life Maggie Hollingsworth. Jim worked for Furrows Building Materials for 10 years then retired from Fairfield City Schools after being a bus driver for 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren that endearingly called him "Bad".

Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maggie Estes; his children, Brandy (Steve) James and David Estes; his grandchildren, Justin (Charlotte), Magen, Sierra James and Joey Estes; his great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Teal, Jesse, Raegann, Ryleigh, Carter and Ben James; his siblings, Judy, Violet, Shirley, Yvonne, Dorothy, Randall, Donald, Kim and Tina; and many other loving family members and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his grand-daughter, Laura Estes; and his brother, Ronald.
