James Dennis "J.D." Gadd

James Dennis "J.D." Gadd, age 53 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. He was born in Hamilton on November 25, 1955 the son of Rev. James and Wanda (Pater) Gadd. J.D. was formerly employed at Fisher Body for eleven years. His favorite hobbies included playing drums, writing music, and especially riding motorcycles. On December 30, 1982 in Hamilton he married Linda Hester.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gadd of Hamilton; three sons, Jeremy Gadd, Jimi Gadd, and Joey Gadd, all of Hamilton; mother-in-law, Lois Hester; a sister-in-law, Judi (Bobby) Rogers of Hamilton; three lifelong friends, Tim Jones, Terry Knox, both of Hamilton, and Doug Cappeli of Indianapolis; dear friend Nancy Hulshult; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cynthia Frady.

Funeral service will be held at First Church of God, 3100 Princeton Road, on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Dr. Nancy Hulshult officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
