James Dennis Grohal

James Dennis Grohal, 73, of Hamilton, OH, passed away on July 09, 2026, at Bradford Place in Hamilton, OH. He was born on September 11, 1952 in Hamilton to Karl and Margaret (Brunner) Grohal. He was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church for his whole life. James was a prolific audiophile, collecting many records, as well as an antique car enthusiast, and an avid bowler.

He is survived by his siblings, Carol Suedkamp, Thomas (Janet) Grohal, Mary (Jim) Hartkemeyer; and numerous nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dan Grohal; his nephews, Matthew Hartkemeyer and Greg Grohal; and a niece, Jennifer Grohal.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, located at 382 Liberty Avenue in Hamilton on Thursday, July 16th at 10:00 am with Father Nam Vu officiating. Friends and family may visit from 9:30am until the time of mass. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park following mass.
