James Hansen

James Hansen, age 34 of Franklin passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. He was born in Quantico, Virginia on February 1, 1974 the son of Vern Henry Jr. and Peggy Sue (Skelton) Hansen. James was very politically-minded and was an avid fan of classic movies.

He is survived by his father, Skip Hansen of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Peggy Sue Webb of Franklin; two brothers, Derrick Webb and Bill Webb, both of Hamilton; two sisters, Christina (Jack) Beaudoin of Franklin and Missy Webb of Hamilton; grandparents Floye M. Hansen of Brownwood, Texas and Oscar Skelton of New Miami; five special nieces, Nicki, Destiny, Jamie, Kiara, and Samantha; and a dear co-worker, Sharon Dunn of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dennis Webb; and grandparents LaVernne Skelton and Vern Hansen Sr.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Paul Marcum of Fellowship Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
