James Hensley

James Hensley, age 49 of Trenton passed away in the home of his father in Trenton on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 4:04PM. He was born in Hamilton on January 28, 1959 the son of Rev. Paul and Reta (Helton) Hensley. James was a 1978 graduate of Edgewood High School. He was a member of the Norwood First Church of God; the Moose Lodge #501 of Middletown; the Cardinals Lodge and was an avid pool player, dart player for various leagues and golf player and worked at Indian Ridge Golf Course. He was employed as a tool grinder for Eversharp-Deburring Company for thirty-three years retiring in 2008.

He is survived by his son, James "BJ" Hensley, Jr. of Trenton; father, Rev. Paul Hensley of Trenton; two devoted brothers, Paul Hensley Jr. of Hamilton and Daniel Hensley of Trenton; three nieces, Heather, Carrie and Sarah and four great nieces and nephews, Jamie, Chad, Levi and Regan. He is also survived by three aunts; Juanita, Diana and Donna; one uncle, Bobby and Tim (Jenny) Childers of Carlisle, Ohio who was just like his brother and also a number of other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Reta Hensley in 2007.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 9:30AM with Rev. Earl Harmon and Rev. Abel Akanbi officiating. Burial will be in Butler Co. Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3PM to 6PM.
