James William Hocking, age 58 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital ER on Saturday, September 6, 2014. He was born in Springfield, IL on January 26, 1956 to Merle and Doris (Enlow) Hocking. James was employed at VFP.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years; Sherry Gibson-Hocking, his brother; Jerry Hocking, his children; Amanda (Kenneth) Karrick, Nicole (Matthew) Williams, Brett (fiancee Shamone) Perkinson, and Brandon Perkinson, his grandchildren; Emily, Justin, Matthew, and Cassie. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 12 PM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 11 AM-12 PM at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
