James Harold Houck, Sr., age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 5:17 AM. He was born in Hamilton on August 13, 1944 the son of Harold George and Beatrice (Jones) Houck. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge #3986 and the Amvets Post #2.
He is survived by two sons, James H. (Yvette) Houck, Jr. of Hanover Township and Bryan (Jody) Houck of Okeana; and four grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Christopher, and Patrick Houck. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Candice Houck.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Paul Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
