James "Jim" G. Howard, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 6:51AM. He was born in Lee County, KY on December 30, 1938 to Dillard and Prescilla (Phillips) Howard. On April 22, 1960 in Hamilton he married Linda Bowling. Jim loved hunting, fishing, and playing cards with friends.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Howard; two sons, Scott (Melissa) Howard and Dennis (Kathy) Howard, one grandson, Josh Howard; five siblings, Bill Howard, Marie Howard, Charles (Teresa) Howard, Bradley (Vivian) Howard, and Mary Grace (Ron) Barker; and many nieces, nephews, other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings, John Willy Howard, Roy Howard, Teeny Durbin, Pauline Callahan, Gerry Geckler, and Allen Howard.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 12Noon with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 10AM-12Noon at the funeral home.
