James M. Lambros

James M. Lambros, age 81 of Hamilton passed away at Wellington Manor on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 6:00 PM. He was born in Hamilton on June 17, 1927 the son of Michael and Angelico (Kourlas) Lambros. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II from 1945 to 1947, and was employed as a waiter at Andy’s Restaurant. He was a member of Amvets Post #1983.

He is survived by two brothers, George M. (Ruth) Lambros of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Andrew M. Lambros of Hamilton; a sister, Sophia M. (Dick) Vaughn of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice.
