James O. Mcqueen

James Orville McQueen, age 60 of New Miami, passed away at his residence, with his loving family beside him, on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on April 9, 1964 the son of Albert and Gracie (Proffitt) McQueen. James was a 1983 graduate of Hamilton High School. On May 19, 1997 in New Miami he married Jennifer E. Garrett.

James is survived by his wife, Jennifer E. McQueen; two sons, Thomas M. McQueen and Gregory J. (Riley Eversole) McQueen; one grandson, Zayne McQueen; two siblings, Jeffery (Bobbie) McQueen and Vickie (Dennis) Schumacher; two sisters-in-law, Janie McQueen and LeAnna McQueen; his mother-in-law, Lillie Pearl Kellum; sisters-in-law, Deanna L. Skidmore and Judith (Chris Ondrovich) Garret; brother-in-law, Gregory Kellum, Jr.; and special aunt, Dean Lairson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings, Ernie and Walter McQueen and Bonnie Manning; niece, Nicki Meyer; father-in-law, Gregory Kellum; and sister-in-law, Kelly Davis.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, October  9, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Justice officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
