James Vernon Perry, age 83 of McKee, Kentucky passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Vernon was born in McKee, Kentucky on September 18, 1934 the son of Clarence and Minnie (Anderson) Perry. He was retired from Mosler Safe Company, a member of the Masons, and a Kentucky Colonel.
Vernon is survived by three children; Lavina E. Anglin, Cheryl L. (George) Loman, and James Vernon Vondale Perry; three siblings, Wanita Reams, Darrell (Ann) Proffitt, and Brenda Glenn; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; numeorus nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Perry; mother, Minnie Proffitt; two brothers, Silas Anderson and Ortis Perry; and son-in-law, Richard Anglin.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jim Mullins and Pastor Glen Goins officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com
