James Richard Prall

James Richard Prall, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Richard was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 5, 1927 to Charles and Mildred Prall. Richard was a Miami University graduate and retired from Fernald after 38 years of service. Richard was a member of the American Chemical Society, Knights of Columbus, and Junior Achievement.

Richard is survived by his sons, Robert (Elizabeth) Prall and Richard (Ana) Prall; his five grandchildren, Andrew Prall, Matthew Prall, Sarah (Robin) Wuest, Cristina Prall, and Eric Prall; and his five great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Lee Prall; his infant daughter, Mary Ann Prall; son, James Michael Prall; and his three siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
