James A. Scalf

James A. Scalf, age 59 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Friday, August 30, 2019. James was born in Clay County, Kentucky on October 22, 1959 to Sylvester Scalf and Mollie Bowling.

James is survived by his two daughters, Crystal Miller and Jamie (Jason) Follick; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; his siblings, Barbara Scalf and Oscar Scalf; and a special niece and nephew, Kenny Roberts and Patricia Roberts; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester Scalf and Mollie Bowling; his siblings, Lester Scalf, Linda Bryant, Lonnie Scalf, Pauline Scalf, Velda Roberts Scalf, Victor Scalf; and one niece, Kelly Roberts.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the CVU nurses at Mercy Fairfield for all of their care and support.
