James R. Scheffler

James R. Scheffler, born August 10, 1943 in Zanesville, OH, died on March 19, 2014 at Westover Retirement Center in Hamilton, OH. He married Laura Jane (McDonald) on December 10, 1966. He served in the United States Navy, and was honorable discharged in 1972. He gave his concerted efforts to Valvoline Oil Company for 30 years, retiring in August, 2000. After retirement, he planned an extensive trip through the northern and western parts of our country in a motor home. He and Jane accomplished that memorable trip together in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Scheffler and his mother, Eola Mae (Fauley) Scheffler. He is survived by his wife; son, Andrew J. (Janie) Scheffler of Hamilton, OH; sister, Sally Sue Casey; a niece, Alana Gail Scheffler, of Columbus, OH; and his grandchildren, Dan (Dalyn) Watson, of Columbus, OH, Andrew J. II, Nikolas Jay, and Emma Jane Scheffler, all of Hamilton.
