James Michael Tipton

James Michael Tipton, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital-Fairfield on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. James was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 5, 1949 to James F. and Lou V. (Bowlin) Tipton. He was an avid golfer and fisherman; and Kentucky Colonel. James was a member of the Moose Lodge #501 in Middletown and the Odd Fellows.

James is survived by his wife, Sandra Tipton; his children, Michael Tipton, Kristina (Chad) Daugherty, Bobby (Tonya) Tipton and James Mullins; his grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Baker, Taylor Tipton, Cody Baker, Tanner Tipton, Hunter Tipton, Landen Tipton, Logan Tipton, Aleisha Lozier, Kaylee Mullins, Afton Mullins, Maddox Mullins and Deacon Mullins; his great grandchildren, Paxton, Lynnex, Grayson and numerous other family members and friends. James was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana Tipton; his brother, Billy Tipton; and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor John Wallen officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
