James Edward "Jimmy Jam" Williams, age 54 passed away at UC Hospital on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was born in Hamilton on April 11, 1960, the son of Dennis Earl and Margaret (Hoke) Williams.
He is survived by his parents, Margaret Arnold and Dennis Earl Williams; six children, Jelane (Mark Jackson) Gay, Shauna Hyatt, Roxanne Deems (Mack) Barrera, James M. Williams, Justin (Jenny) Williams, and Amanda (Diego Mateo) Williams; former spouse, Barbara Williams; a brother, Michael J. Ballinger; and 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Arnold; his grandparents, Julian and Clara Hoke; and an aunt, Patty Donathan. Jimmy has always been loved by his friends and family.
A visitation will be held at Millville Cemetery on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 10:30 until time of service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bobby Mills officiating.
