James William Zeek

James William Zeek, age 51 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 1:58 AM. He was born in Hamilton on January 12, 1960 the son of Grant Henry and Geanne (McGraw) Zeek. James was employed as a machinist at Wright-Bernet. In October, 1980 in Hamilton he married Patricia Ramsey.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Zeek of Hamilton; a daughter, Lena (Bobby Sibert) Ramsey of Hamilton; two sons, James Michael Zeek of Hamilton and Joseph (Lindsey Jenkins) Zeek of Fairfield; three brothers, Michael (Mary Jo) Zeek of Cincinnati, Leo (Colleen) Zeek of Fairbanks, Alaska, and George (Vickie) Zeek of Fairfield; three grandchildren, Brooklyn Young, Brandon Sibert, and London Justine Sibert; his in-laws, Sebert and Wilma Ramsey of McKee, Kentucky; and two brothers-in-law, Donald Ray Ramsey and John Gregory (Dawnetta) Ramsey, both of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Betty Lou Ramsey; and two cousins, Joann and Red Sandlin.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Associate Pastor Jerry Brees of Lindenwald Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
