James F. Anglin, II age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. Known to most as Jim, he was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 22, 1935 to the late James and Mary (Cox) Anglin. After high school, Jim worked at various local businesses, from delivering bread for Omar to his time as a machinist at GE Sharonville and Mosler Safe Company. Over the years, he also worked for Butler County and HiTech Machinery. After retirement, Jim enjoyed working alongside his brother, cousins, and nephews at John Anglin & Associates Auctioneers. Over his many working years, Jim learned many skills and trades, ranging from general handyman work and small engine repair to fine machining work. Jim will be remembered for his strong work ethic and love for family.
Jim will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Ruth Anglin; his children, Jammy Anglin, Debbie (Dennis) Rose, Tim (Sandy) Anglin, Cora Gray, and Lora (Doug) Brooks; his grandchildren, Jim (Kendra) Anglin, Jenny (Shannon) Barrett, Stephanie (Tony) Houston, Mandy Anglin, and Lucy (George) James; his great-grandchildren, Olivia, Gavin, Aiden, Drew, Liam, Grace, George, Will, and Maya; his sister, Yvonne “Tootsie” Hetrick; as well as many extended family members, close cousins and friends.
Jim is reunited in Heaven with his brother, John Anglin; his daughter-in-law, Gayle Anglin; and his sons-in-law, William Gray and Dennis Bradner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:30 AM until his Funeral Service at 12:30 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, with Pastors Matt Gordon & Don Vanneman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
