Jane P. Fox

Jane Fox, age 94 of Hamilton, passed away at Bradford Place on Friday, August 4, 2017. She was born in McGonigle on March 13, 1923 the daughter of Paul and Luella (Woodruff) Becker. Jane was a 1941 graduate of Hamilton High School. She was employed in the personal department at Herring Hall Safe for nine years and at the service desk at Elder-Beerman for ten years, retiring in 1988. Jane was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church, Altar Rosary Society, and EX POW life member. On August 7, 1948 in Hamilton she married James Fox, Jr. and he preceded her in death in 2006.

She is survived by five children, Cathi Bridges, Christi (Robert) Harrison, Cindy (Richard) Hain, Tim Fox, and Tom (Mary) Fox; three siblings, Gerry (Anne) Becker, Tom (Melinda) Becker, and Karen (Tom) McQuiston; three grandchildren, Lesley Smith, Amanda (Patrick) Harkins, and Sam Hain; three great grandchildren, Amber, Selena, and Briana; and acknowledge Craig and April Farrell and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Richard, Michael, and Jacque Becker; and her grandson, Zach Hain.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
