Jane Obermeyer

Jane Obermeyer, age 80 of Cincinnati, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Jane was born in Madisonville, Tennessee on June 16, 1944 to the late James and Minnie (Smith) Harris. As a young child, Jane’s family came to Cincinnati, settling down in Norwood. She married Ed Obermeyer not long after graduating high school and together they raised a family. Ed worked while Jane took care of the house. In their spare time, they enjoyed fishing. The only things that Jane loved more than fishing was God and her family.

Jane is survived by her children, Scott Obermeyer, Susan (Joseph) Cochran, and Joseph (Joni) Obermeyer; her grandchildren, Harley, Travis, Justin, Bruce, Bella, and Chrissy; her great-grandchildren; her sister, Tami Brock; her nephews, Matt Wade; and great-nephews, Ty and Ryan Wade; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin “Ed” Obermeyer; her brother-in-law, Ron Brock; and her nephew Chris Wade.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Interment will immediately follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241 with Bro. Bob Singleton officiating.
