Jane Pennington

Jane Pennington, age 79 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 5:15 PM. She was born in Hamilton on November 21, 1929 the daughter of Wallace and Elva (Burkhardt) Warner. Jane was employed at Champion International Paper for 38 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Hamilton Christian Center. On June 19, 1948 in Covington, Kentucky she married Kenneth Pennington, and he preceded her in death in 2003.

She is survived by three children, Nancy Kuhl of Cincinnati, Joe (Dee) Pennington of Ocala, Florida, and Teri (Troy) Fischer of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Bryan, Sarah, Sean, Becca, Brier, Alex and Lia; four great-grandchildren; four siblings, Helen Morgan, Don Warner, Carol Giani, and Joanie Pennington, all of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Phyllis Warner.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Derwin Ward of Hamilton Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
