Janet S. Blevins

Janet Sue Blevins, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Janet was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 3, 1949 to William O. Chasteen and Bertha (Messer) Chasteen. Janet was an active member of the Church of the Living God in Castine, OH. She worked as the Head Teller at First Financial Bank in Hamilton for over 25 years.  Janet enjoyed riding motorcycles with her friends, going on various road trips.

Janet is survived by her two children, Teresa (Johnny) Johnson and Earl "TJ" Blevins Jr.; five grandchildren, Samantha Johnson, Krista (Patrick) Grady, Cody (Kristen) Johnson, Hannah Blevins, Dylan (Megan) Blevins; five great grandchildren, Victoria, Wyatt, Easton, Jase, and Kali; her brothers, Dale (Sue) Chasteen, Russell (Teresa) Chasteen, Reuben Chasteen; former spouse, Tracy Blevins; and a special family, who meant a lot to Janet, the Mellott family. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bertha Chasteen.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December  8, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio.  Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Wednesday, December  8, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Steve Smith of Church of the Living God officiating.  Private burial will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park at a later date.
