Janet F. (Carberry) Brimer, age 68 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, October 15, 2011. She was born in Hamilton on April 9, 1943 the daughter of Vernon and Ada (Niece) Carberry. Janet was employed at the Valley View and Williamsdale Inn for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Middletown Moose Lodge and Orioles Lodge. On July 19, 1961 in Overpeck she married Donald Ray Brimer and he preceded her in death in 1980.
She is survived by two children, Pamela J. (Rowland) Brimer-Towles of Trenton and Michael Brimer of Hamilton; two brothers, Vernon (Carol) Carberry of Vevay, Indiana and Keith (Janice) Carberry of Okeechobee, Florida; one sister, Sharon Wooten of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Samantha (Tommy) Pennington, Michael Brimer Jr., Amanda Reynolds, Ryan Towles, and Christine Towles; three great grandchildren, Alaura, Colton, and Hannah; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
