Janet Sue Copenhaver

Janet Sue Copenhaver, age 64 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Friday, September, 24, 2010 at 6:26 PM. She was born in Hamilton on May 26, 1946 the daughter of Daniel and Edna (Abrams) Cox. On November 27, 1964 in Eaton she married Kenneth Copenhaver. Sue was a member of the Hamilton Church of God. .

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Copenhaver of Hamilton; three children, Vance (Heather) Copenhaver of Amelia, Clint Copenhaver of Lizella, Georgia, and Jackie (Jim) Pohlman of Huntersville, North Carolina; her parents, Daniel and Edna Cox of Camden; one brother, Jack (Lucille) Cox of Hamilton; one sister, Barbara (Bernell) Bishop of Camden; six grandchildren, Shelby, Kendall, Jordan, Emma, Collin, and Layton Copenhaver; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Cox.

Funeral service will be held at the Hamilton Church of God, 1760 Millville Avenue, on Monday, September, 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Alan Weaver and Rev. Walter Langdon officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, Sunday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati.
