Janet M. Hunley, age 89, of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospice Unit on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 2:10 AM. She was born in Florence, Pennsylvania on July 11, 1918 the daughter of Frank and Mattie (Pullen) Rand. On January 14, 1946 in Hamilton she married Donald J. Hunley who passed away on June 18, 1997.
She is survived by seven nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, and a special niece, Carolin Frazee.
Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Randy Dodd and Elder Lewis Bolser of New Miami Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Janet’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the B Wing of Huntington Court for their care and support.
