Janet Josephine Jordan

Janet Josephine Jordan, age 75 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 4:54 AM. She was born in Carroll, Iowa on December 20, 1935 the daughter of Albert and Pauline (Rust) Schmich. Janet was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church. On August 11, 1956 in Portland, Oregon she was married to Donald Jordan.

She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Jordan of Hamilton; a son, Michael (Deborah) Jordan of Hamilton; two daughters, Donna Jordan and Robin (Gary) Cook, all of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Marcus Jordan of Cincinnati, Wesley (Angela) Cook of Hamilton, Rebecca (fiancé Matt Tillett) Jordan of Hamilton, Emily Cook of Hamilton, Eric (fiancée Janelle Small) Cook of Hamilton, and Anna Jordan of Hamilton; a sister-in-law Betty Schmich of Portland, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Schmich.

Funeral service will be held at the New Testament Baptist Church, 2630 Hamilton-Mason Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Lamon Hubbs , Associate Pastor Ron Small of New Testament Baptist Church and Rev. Mark Wilson pastor of North Fairfield Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue
