Janet R. Lakes

Janet R. Lakes, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 8:36PM. She was born in Hamilton on March 26, 1947 to Emett and Jeanette (Poff) Wilder. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and family. Janet was also looking forward to a long overdue family vacation.

She is survived by her husband Ron Lakes; two children, Rhonda (Steve) Cassidy, and Keith Lakes; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Franklin; and one sister Marilyn Ryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Janice McGuire.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
