Janet A. Adelsperger

Janet A. Adelsperger, age 96 of Fairfield, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Janet was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 7, 1926 to the late Earl and Luella (Conrad) Hedges. Janet graduated from Notre Dame High School in Hamilton. In the early 1940’s, she began dating George Adelesperger. He was called to serve his country in the Army and during his time in the service, they kept in touch. After returning home from the war they married and raised a family together in Hamilton. After the kids were old enough to take care of their own, she went to work for Elder-Beerman, where she became head cook in the restaurant for over 20 years.

Janet is survived by her children, Linda (Bill) Larkin, Gail (Mike) Tucci, Robert (Linda) Adelsperger, Charles (Gail) Adelsperger, Debbie Petty, Denny (Tonia) Adelsperger and David (Tammy) Adelsperger; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren that are too numerous to mention by name.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, George Adelsperger, Sr.; her son, George Adelsperger, Jr.; as well as her parents and siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio.  Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
