Janice McKinney

Janice McKinney, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Family and friends sang at her side about Heaven and then she went on to be with the Lord. Janice was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 14, 1952 to Bailey and Lillian (Tatum) Relliford.

Janice was an Executive Secretary for Ohio Casualty and retired after 32 years. She was also Secretary Treasurer for her husband’s business, Rollie’s Aluminum Siding and for Bethel Pentecostal Church.

Janice was a devoted wife to her husband, Rollie McKinney. This past year marked the 50th anniversary of their marriage on December 6, 1974. They shared a love that has surpassed any season or storm of life. They built a beautiful legacy together and lived a life full of laughter.

Janice was a wonderful mother to her son Keith McKinney, she was fun, she was his rock and gave him more than he could ask for. Janice adored her grandchildren Keira and Colton.

Janice was a loving sister and aunt. Her family meant everything to her. She honored her family’s heritage and anointing that has passed down through the generations.

Janice had a spirit that drew in everyone around her. She was a force to be reckoned with, charming, loving and loyal with a little bit of sass sprinkled in. Her life was laced with friendships and relationships. She genuinely loved and appreciated the people in her life.

If you knew nothing else about Janice, she would want you to know that she is a child of the King. Jesus Christ is her Lord and Savior. She was an anointed woman of God and a gifted piano player. She used her gifts and talents for the kingdom!

Janice is survived by her husband, Rollie; her son, Keith (Crystal); granddaughter, Keira; grandson, Colton; sister, Yvonne (Paul) Campbell; brother, Ronnie (Janet) Relliford; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Bailey and Lillian Relliford; sister, Bonnie Relliford; and brothers, Kenneth Relliford and Douglas (Mayme) Relliford.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11:30 AM with Pastor Harry James officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
