Janice Marilyn Zehler

Janice Marilyn Zehler, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at her residence, with her family at her bedside, on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Janice was born in Jacksonburg, Ohio on September 4, 1934 to John Hugh Paullin and Jeannette (Koontz) Paullin.  Janice married her high school sweetheart Ray Zehler on July 11, 1953, and he preceded her in death in 2016.  She was a loving nurturing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an outstanding seamstress and cook, and a very hard working woman.

Janice is survived by her loving children, Bill (Diana) Zehler, Jennifer (David) Allen, Kathleen Zehler, Teresa (Shawn) Patrick, Steven Zehler; 13 granddaughters; 13 great grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, John Hugh Paullin and Jeannette Paullin Long; her spouse, Raymond Zehler; one granddaughter, Sarah Patrick; and two brothers, William and Richard Paullin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:30 AM with Fr. Steven Zehler celebrant.  Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to Queen of Peace School.
