J.C. Baldwin

J.C. Baldwin, age 65 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 9:14 AM. He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on May 18, 1946 the son of Homer and Mae (Clark) Baldwin. J.C. was employed as a laborer at Local #534 for 38 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Middletown; was an avid crappie fisherman; and one of his greatest joys was being a papaw to his grandchildren. On August 27, 1966 in Jackson County, Kentucky he married Louise Brewer.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Baldwin of Hamilton; two children, Gary "Bubba" (Julie) Baldwin of Okeana and Annie (Doug) Davidson of Hamilton; five brothers, Clay (Martha) Baldwin, Ralph Baldwin, Roy Baldwin, Glenn (Sonia) Baldwin, all of Jackson County, Kentucky, and Charles Baldwin of New Miami; a sister, Lorene Tincher of Island City, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Tiffany (Mason) Foster, Austin Baldwin, Stephanie (Scott) Ledger, Amanda Davidson, and Denise Davidson; and a great-grandson, Luke Foster as well as one on the way, Grayson Lee Foster. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray Baldwin.

Funeral service will be held at the Gray Hawk Reformed Church, US Highway 421 S, Gray Hawk, Kentucky on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Paul Marcum and Rev. Curtis Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also at the Gray Hawk Reformed Church on Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
