Jean L. (Gerber) Henderson

Jean L. (Gerber) Henderson, age 93, resident of Berkeley Square in Hamilton, passed away peacefully with her family at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, January 4, 2019. Jean was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 13, 1925 to Alfred Gerber and Mabel (Hartleb) Gerber. She attended Hamilton Schools, graduating from Hamilton High in 1943. Jean married the father of her children, Elwood Inloes in 1946, and he preceded her in death in 1975. On June 23, 1979, she married Ralph A. Henderson, and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2010. Jean was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church; worked as a legal secretary for 40 years; and was an avid golf player until she was 86. She continually worked on the Hamilton High reunions; was a member of the Newcomers Club; and was very active at Berkeley Square.

Jean is survived by three children, Shirley (the late Richard) Snyder, Dick (Kathy) Inloes, and Gail (Brad) Schlenk; six grandchildren, Kimberly (Dave) Kivimaki, Jeff (Christy) Snyder, Ryan (Angie) Inloes, Jill (Rick) Little, Todd Schlenk, and Alison Schlenk; twelve great grandchildren, Zack and Katelyn Kivimaki, Hayden, Carter, and Josie Snyder, Mitchell and Ashley Inloes, Joey, Kaleb and Mason Sackenheim, Camden Lamb, Charlie Mae Schlenk; R.A's children, Beth (Bob) Galbraith and Tom Henderson; and his grandchildren, Emily Galbraith and Hannah Henderson; along with may other relatives and friends. Jean is also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Gerber, her half brother, Richard Gerber, and son in law Richard Snyder.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home,1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00AM with Rev. Joseph Schrock of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. The family expresses their sincere thanks to the entire Berkeley staff for their years of care, and to Hospice of Hamilton care staff. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Richard R.
