Jean E. Thompson

Jean E. Thompson, age 78 of Hamilton passed away at West Chester Medical Center on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:15 AM. She was born in Hamilton on March 2, 1934 the daughter of Clifton and Hazel (Leffler) Thompson. Jean was employed as a policy service representative at Ohio Casualty Insurance for 18 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Egbert of Hamilton; two brothers, Daniel (Jean) Thompson of Hamilton and William (Thyra) Thompson of Hudsonville, Michigan; three sisters, Betty Atyeo, Helen Lawrence, both of Fairfield, and Ann (William) House of Hamilton; and a grandson, Brad Egbert. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and Tex Thompson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Jeff Bacon, Celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
