Jean R. Wyatt

Jean R. Wyatt, age 77 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 8:20 PM in Huntington Court after a long illness. She was born in Hamilton on November 20, 1933 the daughter of James C. and Ruth A. (Dunwoody) Abbott. Jean attended Hamilton High School, was a homemaker, and was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton. On February 10, 1951 she married Fredrick D. Wyatt, and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2000.

She is survived by five children, Deborah L. (Tyrone) Simpson, Daniel S. (Deborah) Wyatt, Donna J. (Steven) Williams, Darlene B. (Edward) Carpenter, and David F. (Michael Rash) Wyatt; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren, with one due in April 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Abbott.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rick Witt, a dear family friend, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
