Jeanette D. Corson

Jeanette D. Corson, age 77 of Middletown passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 12:05 AM. She was born in Olympia, Kentucky on April 30, 1933. Jeanette was a member of World Harvest Church of God. In 1957 in Richmond, Indiana she married Laverne Corson, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

She is survived by a daughter, Aletha Rogers and her husband Andrew of Saugatuck, Michigan; three grandchildren, Christina Cawthon, Craig Moore, and Carl Moore Jr.; and six great-grandchildren, Carley, Collin, Celestia, Logan, Trinity, and Estrella. She was preceded in death by her father, Hobart Swartz and her mother, Laura Smith.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Fred Napier of World Harvest Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in New London Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Care of Middletown or the American Kidney Fund.
