Jeanette Sapp, age 68 of Fairfield, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 04:15PM. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 28, 1946 to Hargett and Hattie (Proctor) Withers. On November 9, 1964 she married Sammie Sapp and together enjoyed 50 years of marriage.
She is survived by her husband Sammie, children Scottie (Hazel) and Richard; 8 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters Faye Brock, Barb Gray, Linda Kingery and brothers Leon Withers and James Withers; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Shauna, brothers Howard, Thaddeus, Jerry, Gary and Dennis and sister Christine.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
