Jeff Franklin Hubbard

Jeff Franklin Hubbard, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at West Chester Hospital on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 9:30 AM. He was born in Hamilton on January 14, 1932 the son of Frank and Nancy (Hacker) Hubbard. Jeff was a veteran of the Korean Conflict with the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954, where he served on the USS Rochester. He was employed as a truck driver for Carolina Freight Carriers for 41 years, retiring in 1995. Jeff was a member of VFW Post 7670, Amvets Post 1983, and American Legion Post 138. On November 8, 1956 he married Mary Jane Inman and she preceded him in death on September 1, 2012.

He is survived by three children, Marty (Susan) Hubbard, Craig (Mary Anne) Hubbard, and Jenny (Dave) Langenheim; three brothers, Ben (Norrine) Hubbard, Walt (Joy) Hubbard, and Jack (Pam) Hubbard; five sisters, Ruth (Jay) Garland, Bonnie (Jim) Stewart, Naomi Flick, Jane (Steve) Burkhardt and Judy Hubbard-Vennemeyer; ten grandchildren, Nick (Tiffany) Hubbard, Trisha Hubbard, Ryan Hubbard, Robert "Bo" Hubbard, Zachary (Shannon) Hubbard, Nathan Hubbard, Courtney Hubbard, Alex Moenck, John Langenheim, and Kristine (Elliott) Long; and one great grandson, Colby Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John Hubbard, Joe Hubbard, and Paul Hubbard; and one sister, Carol Ann Hubbard.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
