Jencia Fay Russell

Jencia Fay Russell, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Woodlands of Hamilton on Friday, August 22, 2025. Fay was born in Scott Co., Virginia on February 17, 1939 to Clyde and Nancy (nee Begley) Collett. On February 14, 1958, she married the love of her life, Gene Russell. Together they had seven daughters, eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren. Fay was a proud wife, mother and mamaw. Along with raising her own family, she babysat for many children throughout the years. Fay enjoyed bowling, crafting and going to BINGO with her friends. She loved making yearly trips back home to Virginia to visit family. Fay was involved in the Hamilton Post Office Auxiliary.

Fay is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gene Russell; her daughters, Glenda (Clayton) Sebastian, Carolyn (Randy) Saunders, Rhonda (Mike) Ellison, and Cheryl Russell; her grandchildren, Kimmy, Patty, David, Jimmy, Karen, Sharon, Timmy, Thomas and Jennifer; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Blake, Kelsie, MaKenna, Konnor, Jordan, Bailey, Karlie, Brenden, Jude, Emma, Elizabeth, Eden, Ella, John, Kierra, Kyla, Matthew and Marissa; her great great-grandchildren, Reece, Renly, Kynlee, Kyrie, Desiree, Rio and Atlas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Fay was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Kimberly Russell, Patricia Combs, and Deborah Cummins; her grandsons, Bobby Combs and Steven Cummins; and her siblings, Alfred, Margaret, Ava Jo and Jim.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
