Jenny L. Strickler

Jenny L. Strickler, age 78 of Hamilton passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 5:45 AM. She was born in Hamilton on October 6, 1931 the daughter of John Floyd and Anna Mae (Claunch) Tillery. On June 24, 1950 in Hamilton she married Harlan L. Strickler, and he preceded her in death in 2009.

She is survived by three children, Connie McClain of Fairfield, Tim (Cella Trauthwein) Strickler of Hamilton and Laura (Ken) Whittaker of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Scott Strickler and Ryan Sherrow; four brothers, Terry (Joy) Tillery of Hamilton, Bob (Eva) Tillery, Doug (Donna) Tillery, both of Florida, and Jimmy (Tami) Tillery of Austria; a sister, Kathy Hildebrand of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Jill Michelle Sexton.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joe Tassell of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Berkeley Square and Dr. Chris Meier and staff at Fairfield Medical Group for their care and concern.
