Jeremy R. Davis

Jeremy R. Davis, age 30 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Friday, April 20, 2007. He was born in Hamilton on May 28, 1976 the son of William and Royalene (Deaton) Davis. Jeremy was a member of the Boys and Girls Club and was a kind, caring person who helped the elderly in his community and was there for anyone who needed help. He enjoyed fishing, sports, collecting baseball cards, and was a Yankees fan.

He is survived by his father, William Davis of Hamilton, whom he loved and cared for; three brothers, Jeff (Shirley) Davis, James (Tammy) Davis, both of Hamilton and Willie (Mary Ann) Davis of Fairfield; a sister, Marlena (Todd) Stewart of Nashville, Tennessee; five nieces and nephews, Tara, Jami, Dakota, Isaiah, and Oscar; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close/best friends; and his pet buddies, Vol, Blue, and Jeter. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Coning of Hamilton Dream Center officiating. Cremation will follow. His ashes will be buried later with his mother in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
