Jerry Fritz

Jerry L. Fritz, age 75 of Hamilton, passed away at his home on Friday, October 11, 2013. He was born in Hamilton on August 11, 1938 to Louis and Hermina Fritz. Jerry was retired from Marshall Electric after almost 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Hamilton. Jerry was an avid softball player that at one time played in the Senior Olympics winning the Bronze Medal. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #968.

He is survived by his children, Tim (Lynn) Fritz of San Jose, CA, Jerry Fritz of Hamilton, Monica (Jim) Palmieri of Hamilton and Melissa (Lawrence) McGuire of Travis AFB, CA; grandchildren, Tim (Amy) Fritz of Dearborn Heights, MI, Amanda (Alex) Spaulding of Hamilton and Aidan, Connor and Jesse McGuire of Travis AFB, CA; great grandchildren, Brennan and Alexis Spaulding of Hamilton; brother and sisters in law, Paul and Faith Kroeger of San Francisco, CA and Jeanne Kroeger of Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Fritz; parents; and daughter, Jeanette Fritz.

Visitation will be 4:30-8pm, with a Knights of Columbus service starting at 7:30pm, Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Funeral service will be 10am, Thursday, October 17, 2013, also at the funeral home on Millville Avenue with Deacon Jeff Merrell officiating.
