Jesse Mcclure Sr.

Jesse McClure Sr., age 73 of Hamilton, passed away at Christ Hospital on Monday, October 17, 2016. Jesse was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on February 28, 1943 to William McClure and Arte (Bowling) McClure. Jesse retired from Mosler Safe Company and also from Liberty Twp. On October 11, 1963 he was married to Bonnie Madden, and she preceded him in death on September 24, 2008. On August 22, 2009 he married Donna Stempfley McClure. He loved to travel in his motorhome, attend car shows, and watch UK Basketball. Jesse also enjoyed being around family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Donna McClure; one child, Jennifer (Jimmy) Burns; three grandchildren, Jesi (Rickey) Templeton, Jared McClure, and Shelby McClure; two step sons, Doug and Dan Stempfley; and two great grandchildren, Kinley and Brantley Templeton; one brother, Virgil (Delores) McClure; and one sister, Judy (Dennis) Alsip. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; one son Jesse McClure Jr.

Funeral service will be held at Calvary Christian Center, 2355 Jacksonburg Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim and Diane Mullins of Calvary Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Calvary Christian Center. Memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Christian Scholarship fund. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Christ Hospital Heart Center.
