Jewel M. Miller

Jewel M. Miller, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, January 13, 2023. Jewel was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 22, 1944 to the late Parnell Sizemore and Katherine (Singleton) Kain.

Jewel brought seven children in this world, Douglas (Kim) Sizemore, Paul (Linda) Miller Jr., Jeff (Pam) Miller, Judy (Danny) Duncan, Pam (Earl) Needham, Bill Jones, and Jessie Jones. Because of her Jewel’s legacy she had 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great children. She also leaves behind her brothers, Ralph Kain and Rick (the late Delphia) Bliton.

Jewel was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Judy Fields; son, Jeff Miller; brother Perry Sizemore, and granddaughter, Jennifer Sizemore.

It is with a very sad heart that we are saying goodbye to our mother. Mom was a strong and stubborn woman, full of witty remarks that would put a smile on your face. She was good at bantering, going back and forth with you until she broke out with the most mischievous smile of hers. Jewel understood the bond of family. She was our matriarch, and she took that roll seriously. She had a love for animals that she passed onto her children. Most being avid animal lovers. We have her to thank for that. It warms our hearts to know that she has made it up to all our family members that have gone to soon! She will be greatly missed, rest in peace mom.

A memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 6:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
