Jo Ann (Gentry) Terry

Jo Ann (Gentry) Terry, age 69, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away at Cape Coral Hospital, on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. She was born September 4, 1939 in Hamilton, the daughter of Wade and Martha (Bales) Gentry. She was a 1957 graduate of Hamilton High School. Jo Ann married Sylvester L. Reiff in March 1959, he preceded her in death, later she was united in marriage to Robert Owen Terry in April 1979. She was employed as a realtor in Ohio and Florida. Jo Ann was raised in church and began singing with her father and sister at the age of four. She continued her love of singing until the age of 65 when she developed health problems. For approximately the past five years, Jo Ann hosted the Christian Fellowship Singspiration that was held monthly in Ft. Myers, Florida. She brought many outstanding Christian groups to the area, along with talented local singers from different denominations to entertain large audiences.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Robert O. Terry; daughter Kim (Russ) Coombs; sons Todd A. Reiff and Brent (Vigi) Reiff; her mother, Martha J. Gentry; and a brother-in-law, James Landin all of Cape Coral; a grandson Mark (Kelly) Bartsch; great-granddaughter Alyssa M. Bartsch; She was preceded in death by her father, Wade Gentry and a sister, Donna Landin.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
