Joan M. Doherty, age 83 of Oxford, passed away at her residence on Monday, March 7, 2022. Joan was born in Manhattan, New York on April 3, 1938 to John Finneran and Lorraine (Brett) Finneran. Joan was an Art Teacher on Long Island for over 35 years. Joan is survived by his children, Anne Gerdes, Ed Doherty, Jim Doherty, John Doherty, and William Doherty; and her four grandsons. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Norman Doherty; and her son Brian Doherty. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Wedig of Queen of Peace Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. www.browndawsonflick.com
