Joann Gail (Corson) Spencer, age 85, passed away at Ohio’s Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Joann was born in Okeana, Ohio on March 5, 1941 to Marshall E. Corson and Millicent Irene (Brown) Corson. Joann was an avid reader, and could be seen reading her favorite novels regularly.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Ray Spencer; her children, Yvonne (Jim) Davis, Timothy Glaab, Jeffrey (A'ndrea) Spencer, and Mark (Heidi) Spencer; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Joann was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Laverne and Kenneth E. Corson; and one sister, Geraldine Carpenter.
A private service was held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at New London Cemetery, 5195 Alert New London Road in Shandon, Ohio 45063.
