Joel Wayne Hilsercop

Joel Wayne Hilsercop, age 59 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Joel was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 22, 1966 to Gene and Shirley (Poff) Hilsercop. Joel was a loving father and adoring papaw. He was a successful business owner. Joel was known for his caring heart, amazing humor and ultimately, being a man of God. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, NASCAR and the outdoors. Joel enjoyed going out of his way to help others and was extremely handy – he was a jack of all trades!

Joel is survived by his children, Brittany (Zach Anderson) Hilsercop and Joshua Hilsercop; his grandchildren, Brianna Hilsercop, Brayden Anderson, Benson Wayne Anderson, Amelia Hilsercop, Aria Hilsercop and Kyleigh Hilsercop; his siblings, Jimmy Hilsercop and Jeanetta (Scott) Gleason; Brenda Hilsercop, the love of his life and best friend; his sister in law, Connie Farris; his close niece and nephew, Casey and Regina Gleason; his step-father, Ted Flynn; and many nieces and nephews. Joel was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Eugene Hilsercop and Shirley Flynn-Hilsercop; and his siblings, Joetta Durbin, John Farris, Jeff Farris and Jeana Kincer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7670 Event Center, 4021 Hamilton Trenton Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011 on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM, with a meal and fellowship to follow.
